SeaBAM successful on NOAA research cruise

ECOES provided the bioacoustic monitoring for the NOAA pilot whale study in the Atlantic.  Over 13 species recorded and a great success for coordination of acoustic and visual surveys.  Contact Mary Jo for more information.


SeaBAM ready to deploy

HTI and Cornell's SeaBAM acoustic monitoring system has been tested and is ready to deploy on seismic survey vessels.  ECOES will be providing the exclusive training for the system as well as providing the operators and technicians for SeaBAM deployed projects.  Contact us for price sheets and more information on our acoustic monitoring services for marine mammals and sound footprint analyses.

ECOES teamed with lead contractor Pandion Systems and was awarded a new contract from the Bureau of Ocean Energy, Management,  Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE) for a pilot study of high definition photgraphy for surveying birds, mammals, and turtles along the Eastern OCS regions.  Our team consisted of Pandion,  Boulder Imaging, IA Tech, Gemini Renewables, and the British Trust for Ornithology.  Congratulations to Pandion and other team members!
