HTI and Cornell's SeaBAM acoustic monitoring system has been tested and is ready to deploy on seismic survey vessels. ECOES teamed with lead contractor Pandion Systems and was awarded a new contract from the Bureau of Ocean Energy, Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE) for a pilot study of high definition photgraphy for surveying birds, mammals, and turtles along the Eastern OCS regions. Our team consisted of Pandion, Boulder Imaging, IA Tech, Gemini Renewables, and the British Trust for Ornithology. Congratulations to Pandion and other team members!
